I delivered two live presentations to an audience comprising ~50 Purchase Managers and 10 hospitality industry vendors supplying to hotels and restaurants across Kerala, the rest of India, and overseas.
Presentation 1: Business Ethics
This session covered 15 business processes across the P2P and C2C cycles.
Key ethical pillars discussed included:
Integrity, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, Fairness, Courage, and Empathy.
Presentation 2: Make AI Your Partner in Negotiations
Key components covered:
• Anatomy of an AI Cost Model
• Framework for AI-driven costing
• Perfect Prompting Procedure
• Four live AI demos, showcasing costing, negotiating levers, and sensitivity analysis for:
• Double bed
• Towels
• OSM Dinner plates
• Diesel Genset – SITC
• Two additional demos on drafting Terms & Conditions for imports, purchase orders, and local contractor agreements (including SITC)
• Critical success factors for the accuracy of AI outputs
• Five feasible product families for AI costing, comprising 50 modular items, noting current AI/LLM limitations in handling large SITC projects in civil, interiors, and MEP
• AI skill development and fulfilment plan for participants to become hands-on by Jan–Mar 2026

Way Forward
Buyers and sellers are encouraged to undergo intensive training in robust prompt engineering, with hand-holding support to effectively make AI a strategic partner in negotiations.
